The Reason is … you.

It all started with a suggestion from R about Armin Van Buuren ‘s “A State Of Trance” Radio show that is produced by DI.FM. As soon as i listened to one episode i wanted more, and then began the downloading of new episodes every week and search for the old ones by means of peer 2 peer networks.

Its been already almost 100 episodes down and i am not bored or over it yet. its keeps growing on to you. And whats best about it, is the fact that this is pure white trance. uplifting, feel good factor. Not like psych and dark trance that used to pull me down and get me into a dark and brooding mood.

But dissappointments are also waiting to happen, specially in case of me liking a movie or music. Just like most of the other movies that i’ve liked, this one also has the song music directly copied from a korean song. Great. might as well just listen to this one.

Surprisingly, am listening to music which lyrics i do not really understand. i mean, i am all for lyrics kind of person. For me, lyrics is what makes the song. but thats why i said, i am not listening to songs, am listening to ‘music’ , just pure music.

In my sister’s words, foreign language music. which includes, German, Russian and Tamil.

Yep, you’re right, i’ve written “Tamil”, and its as foreign as it can get for me!

But I am still listening to it, because the music is amazing. And more over, the songs are referred by someone special. so yeah, silly as it may sound, that could be another reason for me to like them.

As I talked about this to Saurabh, I am certain that I am experiencing what we call, a Blogger’s block! Where even though I have a lot to type about, I could not even end up penning down a single line. Its weird, yes, but it happens, to everyone I guess. At least to everyone who thinks anything that becomes a routine eventually becomes slightly boring.

Anyways, that is not the subject of the post, I know. I have a real bad habit of talking in all tangents. So getting back to the main point, its about music. Music that makes me feel things. Music that sometimes brings me to tears and at others lands me into a white peaceful field of calm. Music that sometimes makes me want to just let loose and exhale my energies out in universe.

Of course, after installing the MP3player on my site, I am able to let people know what I like in music, what moves me. Moreover, it’s also to know whether it affects similarly to anyone else. So, I have updated the Play list again. It contains a few good pieces, which are my favorites.

A few other songs that are not in this list are situated here http://gravityunderground.blogspot.com. The artist is Psychacid, the person I came to know almost a year ago through his blog. Then I was introduced to his music. I had loved a few of his songs since the very beginning, and even though I am writing this right now, I know that my compliments would not be worthy to be said about his music. Shadow art is the song that is dark, full of profundity.

Yet the song that touches me the most is How does it feel?. Strange enough, I wish that I could listen to it live. I wish he would sing it in front of me, for real.

Another of Sanjay Gupta Film, Including Sanjay Dutt! Releasing on January 12, 2006. The one I would want to watch First day First show. Just for the fact that I do not want to read or hear any reviews in advance. More often than not, common crowd takes Sanjay Gupta films appallingly. I, for myself, like them for the reason that they are diverse, stimulating. They are not the Rajshri banners Rona- Dhona Category such as “Hum saath saath hai” or Karan Johar’s family Drama “kabhi khushi kabhi gum.” I stalwartly loath those movies. However, I would not comment more about it as this is a substance of sensitivity, and watching preferences. I respect everyone’s own opinion in this.

Again, this post is not about the movie itself. It is about the music. It is about the soundtrack of this movie, which is composed by “Strings”, in which John Abraham has quoted a few lines and become a new singer of the town. Anyhow, he sounds good as the track itself lifts the quotation to new heights while listened. This track is about sadness, about the grief and pain of lost. Of course, to others it may sound like a negative effect, but that very effect leads to the positive soul searching.

This is the song, that I am not tired of listening. This one track, which I have so accustomed to listen almost five times a day, has been my favorite from the very day it got premiered on The Musik, and all other music channels.
